O.C.A.R.E. and Official Subcommittees hold regular quarterly meetings on the 1st Thursday of January, April, July and October at the BEC/2nd Chance Thrift Shop starting at 5:30 p.m. These meetings are open to the public.

MyOn has thousands of online books that are available for free to the students of the Owsley County School District. Some OCES classrooms use MyOn frequently. Click on the MyOn icon to the left and you will be directed to the MyOn website. You can use your Chromebook, laptop, iPhone, iPad or Kindle to read books online. Also there is a "shh" feature the MyOn application where you can silence the online reader. If students are struggling with particular words, you can also turn the feature on to hear words read in context.
