EPA BROWNFIELD CLEANUP IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT
OWSLEY COUNTY ALLIANCE FOR RECREATION AND ENTERTAINMENT INCORPORATED
Owsley County Alliance for Recreation and Entertainment is seeking Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to provide cleanup activities at the former Old Booneville/Seale Theater located in Booneville, Kentucky. These activities will be funded by an EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grant awarded to the Owsley County Alliance for Recreation and Entertainment.

Proposals are due on or before October 11, 2022 no later than 5:00 p.m. Packages should be clearly marked Seale Theater Project Cleanup Bid Packet and addressed to the Attention of Sue Christian, Director. Any proposals received later than the submission deadline will not be accepted or considered.
Potential bidders can do a walk-through site visit at 165 N. Mulberry Street, Booneville, KY 41314 on September 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
All RFPs will be evaluated in terms of project approach, timing, experience, quality of work, and capacity of performance. Previous experiences with EPA Brownfield Cleanup Grants are desired. Past performances on similar projects will be assessed in terms of timeliness, completing work within budget, quality of work and other factors. After careful review and consideration, the Owsley County Alliance for Recreation and Entertainment will select the best-suited firm(s) for the services described in this RFP package.
